Boasting agile handling characteristics usually found on smaller bikes, how our clever engineers created such a nimble machine for the size of the motor is simply mind blowing.

  • Engine: The EC 450F is powered by a compact and lightweight SOHC 450cc 4-stroke engine that delivers substantial torque, providing a playful and responsive riding experience. The engine's positioning within the frame is optimized by tilting it back by 2 degrees compared to previous models, which centralizes mass and enhances handling characteristics.

  • Frame: Designed for playful handling, razor-sharp cornering, and confidence-inspiring straight-line stability, the frame of the EC 450F reduces rider fatigue and extends the fun on the trails. Grippy frame guards above the footpegs provide extra grip for maximum control, even in challenging conditions.

  • Suspension: Equipped with WP XPLOR-USD front forks (Ø 48 mm) and a WP XACT Monoshock with linkage at the rear, both offering 300 mm of suspension travel, the EC 450F delivers a smooth ride over rough terrain.

  • Brakes: The braking system includes a 260 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc, providing reliable stopping power in various conditions. High-quality BRAKTEC brake calipers and controls inspire riders to push harder, ride faster, and brake later.

  • Ergonomics and Design: The all-red bodywork is designed for ergonomic efficiency, featuring large contact surfaces to aid rider movement and control. A super grippy seat cover ensures the rider remains securely in place, even in challenging conditions. The straightforward, no-tools air filter mounting system allows for quick and easy filter changes, ensuring maximum horsepower.
