Finding the fast way through woods has never been easier since we introduced our EC 250. Fun to ride, easy to race, and simple to maintain, we built this bike to be reassuringly uncomplicated so you can just focus on the fun part of owning it – the riding! For 2025, our engineers updated the frame to improve cornering while the tried and tested Throttle Body Injection remains as, put simply, it delivers the broadest spread of controllable power. You’ll also find plenty of the good stuff on the EC 250. We’re talking WP suspension, BRAKTEC brakes, PANKL transmission, MAXXIS tires, and of course, the all red bodywork that’s complete with some sweet new graphics.
Key Features:
-
Engine: The EC 250 is powered by a 249 cm³ 2-stroke engine featuring a 66.4 mm bore and a 72 mm stroke. The Keihin EFI system with a 39 mm throttle body ensures efficient fuel delivery, while the electric starter provides quick and reliable ignition. The DS wet multi-disc clutch, operated by Braktec hydraulics, offers smooth and precise control.
-
Frame and Subframe: Constructed from central double-cradle-type 25CrMo4 steel, the frame offers a balance of strength and flexibility. The aluminum rear subframe contributes to the bike's lightweight design and durability.
-
Suspension: Equipped with a WP XPLOR-USD front fork with a 48 mm diameter and a WP XACT Monoshock with linkage at the rear, both providing 300 mm of suspension travel, the EC 250 ensures a smooth ride over rough terrain.
-
Brakes: The braking system includes a 260 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc, delivering reliable stopping power in various conditions.
-
Ergonomics and Design: The bike's bodywork is designed for ergonomic efficiency, featuring large contact surfaces to aid rider movement and control. A grippy seat cover ensures the rider remains securely in place, even in challenging conditions.
