JAMES DABILL JSTGGNo.1 Rider has just had two solid 6th places at the WTC in JAPAN.
Dibz finished two marks behind Kenichi Kuroyama on Day 1 who always upsets the wtc regulars at his home GP. Dibs was gutted because he got caught out half way round the second lap when it started to rain which made the latter half of the last lap very difficult for him.
Both Dibz and Jack were happy with his level of riding and although the rain annoyed them both he was pleased to beat Cabestany.
Day 2 and 6th again… Dibz’ first lap dropped him to joint 7th with simply too many fives. A good second lap was needed which he achieved but only lifting him one place higher to finish 6th beating Kenichi and pay back from the previous Day.
After 4 rounds Dibz is a solid 6th place in the overall Championship on 50 points. He is 15 points behind Cabes who is 5th on 65 points. Dibs will continue to fight and now looks forward to his home GP in three weeks time in Fort William.
CONGRATULATIONS to ADAM RAGA / GAS GAS who won Day 2 !
Both Adam and Dibz will ride the ‘NEW Raga Replicas’ at the UK Round. http://www.ukworldtrial.com/

DAN THORPE (JSTGG) won the Alan / Novogar National on Sunday and recorded his 100th National Trial win. This is a fantastic achievement and i for one congratulate him. Im not sure if this is an ‘all time record’ and maybe someone can find out but in any case this is an amazing amount of UK National wins and I know it wont stop at 100 !
Dan will no doubt inform me of how many have been on GG machinery but its certainly alot! Well done mate and lets make the Wainwright 101 J
Thanks to Eric Kitchen for the pic of Dan.
EMMA BRISTOW (JSTGG) and HANNAH STYLES (JSTGG) were at the Women’s and Girls BTC at ‘not so sunny’ Scarborough. The rain made it a tough, high scoring day.
Emma was on the podium again in the Women’s Class finishing 3rd behind Joanne and Becky.
Hannah won her Girls A Class easily..
Congrats to Joanne Coles (ACEGG) who won again J
STEVE PLAINS GGUK Enduro Team were out in full force at the ‘Hafren’ British Enduro Championship in Mid-Wales and were also successful.
ASHLEY WOOD, racing his CC250 in the Championship E2 Class finished 3rd on Day 1(7th overall) and 6th on Day 2 (12th Overall).
Ashley spoilt his weekend with a crash late on yesterday on test 6 which dropped him a few places. Ashley was pushing hard battling with Ollie Moyce and Ed Jones and lost the front end putting Ash on the dirt. Ashley was gutted at the finish but both himself and Plainer were happy with his riding and the bike all weekend.
DANNY McCANNEY blitzed the Expert Class winning the E3 Class and the Expert Class overall on both Days riding his SP CC300. Danny won all but one test over the two days and is really flying on his new bike. When comparing his test times to the Championship riders Danny is impressive and is getting faster!
BRADLEY KING was 3rd in Championship E3 Class on Saturday and 5th on Sunday. This was Brads first traditional BEC event back after injury and although he rode the Sprint last weekend this was the first ‘real’ test for him.
CHARLIE EVANS retired after realising that his elbow is not yet healed 100% and maybe came back Racing a little too early.
Many thanks to Plainer and Rob Sartin.

GGUK Enduro Rider LEE SAMPSON finished 13th at the awesome ERZBERG RODEO Extreme Race. Lee was the best GAS GAS rider so well done.
Lee qualified on the second row behind mostly crazy fast four-strokes which made for a difficult start getting through the pack in the dust etc.
Lee rode his lightweight CC250 two stroke and used his expert Trials skills to eventually finish 13th.
